How I Can Help With Your Game
Currently, I offer two types of services, both of which are related to helping players learn your game.
Pricing is on a case-by-case basis, so contact me if you think we should work together! Email me at [email protected] with a description of your project, and I will respond with a quote based on the size of the project and the weight of the game.
- Video Tutorials: I will create a video tutorial for your game and incorporate feedback from you to make it as complete and accurate as possible.
- Rulebook Editing: Whether you need developmental editing and want feedback about how your rules flow, or whether you need someone to catch all of your typos, I am here to help!

How do we do this?
Email me at [email protected] with inquiries. I will be delighted to hear from you! But here are the basics:
N.B.: If it's a game review you're looking for, contact me about sending a review copy and it will go into my queue to be covered free of charge. However, I won't be able to review a game after I have been paid to teach it.
- I am looking to create definitive tutorials of complete games. I am open to covering a game that is on Kickstarter as long as it is fully developed with minimal expected changes.
- I specialize in solo and cooperative games, but I am happy to teach a multiplayer game if you feel I am the right fit.
- I am particularly interested in working with medium-to-heavy games—I want to put my teaching skills to best use!

What am I offering you?
There is no one-size-fits-all way to teach, and my goal is to give every game the special attention it needs so that the maximum number of people can learn and enjoy it. Our project together may take on different forms, depending on your needs. We can:
Whatever we decide to do, you can expect that:
- Create a quick overview of your game, followed by a sample turn or two.
- Create a series of short videos to showcase different concepts in your game.
- Create a digital rulebook with timestamps so that viewers can navigate as needed.
- Add sample play to any project, whether it's a specific example from the rules or a couple of turns designed to show game flow.
Whatever we decide to do, you can expect that:
- Videos will be completed by a mutually-agreed deadline.
- I will take feedback from you before publication, if desired, to make sure that correction notes are added or that sections are re-filmed when it is reasonable to do so.
- You will be able to choose whether the video is published on my YouTube channel, Beyond Solitaire, or on your own channel.
What do I need from you?
I want to make sure that I'm producing a video we can both be proud of for years to come. To make sure that happens, here are the things I will need from you:
- Your game's estimated complexity rating, per BGG standards. I need this to give you an accurate quote.
- Your game's rulebook. I need this ASAP so I can get to work figuring out how best to teach your game!
- Your ideal timeline.
- A high-quality image of your game's box cover for the thumbnail.
- Your game! I strongly prefer to work with physical copies of the games I cover. I live in Atlanta, GA. Make sure to incorporate shipping into your timeline.

Gearloc How to Play – .06 Tink
This video is hosted on the Chip Theory Games YouTube channel, along with my other Gearloc guides. There will eventually be an entry for every single Gearloc. I chose to include Tink here because he is often thought of as a difficult character to play, and this video makes him more accessible.
